The moon, the man and the broom

The man in the moon

The moon had lost its sparkle and was covered in moon dust

The stars looked grey, dull and lacklustre

The man in the moon used his broom

To clear away the moon dust

The hard hailstones they hit us!

With his broom and bucket

The moon dust was cleared up

The grey dust from the stars

He cleared away

That was the cold snow that fell on us!

The moon so bright in the midnight sky

The stars sparkled as they illuminated the night sky

Halley’s comet did a fly by

The man in the moon did his job beautifully

The moon, the man and the broom

Our moon and stars in the moonlight sky

Every night we are treated to an amazing sight

That man in the moon he does his job alright
