Once our welcome home
To drama, comedy and variety
Dance and free expression
Entertainment before the invention of both the television and radio
Before technology took over our homes
How could we let the theatre go?
Now living in the dark cold shadows
In disrepair
When did we start not to care?
We laughed, gasped, sighed and cried
How could we let this beautiful architectural theatre die?
Once our welcome home
One day we said goodbye
To this theatre that was wonderfully bright and alive
Yet, it still captures our heart
