Watching TV

Watching TV

Fiction that touches reality

Normal people becoming reality stars

Saying mashed up, smashed up lines

Never coherent

Never wise

Life taken over by reality star influencers

Telling us what to buy

What to eat

Where we should buy our clothes

Where we should be seen

Is this some new reality?

Normal life sometimes feels like a really bad soap opera

As we are fed information in the talking moving pixel glass

Watching TV

Sometimes it doesn’t feel like just watching TV

Computer imaginary

False reality

False readings

Normality and this unreal reality is a narrow line

Sometimes it feels like we are in no man’s land

I often wobble

I don’t want to topple

Do I jump left?

Do I jump right?

Or hop, skip and a jump ahead?

I’m trying to find reality

Not being spoon fed this unreality

I know behind this fictional world we see

I know when I feel the hot sand beneath my feet

I am living in reality

Living in some kind of normality

Yet, I still watch this unreal TV screen

I can’t help my human trait’s

Curiosity, familiarity you see

A hard habit to break watching unreal reality on the TV screen
