I want to escape this unreal science fiction reality

The world is just a real of film

Capturing reality

Always a sheet of clear perspex plastic to separate me from you

I can’t remember how it feels to touch and to hold

It reminds me of the popular 70’s show

I feel so claustrophobic

I feel like I’m being sandwiched inbetween Kermit and Miss Piggy

In this imaginary Muppets Show Zoom meeting

I feel like I’m just one in a trillion

As I hide my face on this big intimidating colourful screen

I do hate to be seen

Eating my tea

While being FaceTimed

I feel like I’m in Back to the Future

Unfortunately, no DeLorean

Trying to escape this period of time!

The world has gone more than just a little bit mad

We can never ever go back!

So I’m stuck in some 1970’s kids show

So I’m stuck in some 1980’s film

This is just too spaced out

I’m a little bit scared

Science fiction is now a reality

George Orwell 1984

Just a few decades more

We all watched Big Brother

The reality show

Now we all get to have a go!

Five minutes of stardom

Big Brother watching us

Big Brother watching you

Please, please help me
