The Tree I drew

The poem I wrote for you

Today I did some art therapy

To distract from my terrible pain

This paper was just plain

I got some pens and drew 3 picture frames

I drew a tree with some leaves

For the 3 pictures frames to hang

I drew some grass, sky and sun

My tree had a background

My picture was nearly done

I drew a smaller tree in the picture frame

I thought it gave some scale

In the other 2 frames

I drew some flowers in bloom

My picture now complete

I thought I would write a poem

To make art and poetry complete
