One day she hopes to make the land home
She will no longer have a mermaid tail
Legs and tender feet will replace those flowing shiny green scales
Such a unique tail
A Princess of the Sea
Forgotten in the deep blue sea
Until her true love sets her free
Where those on land will see her magnificent beauty
No longer hidden beneath the sea
Until that day the mermaid waits patiently
