The Best Dressed Manikin

The manikin

She felt very cold and naked in her white and black heart material skin

Her owner is not really into sewing

She never gets to model an evening sequin dress or a summer linen skirt

She has never tried on a flamboyant silk blouse, black denim shirt or a flowered vintage tea dress

She always feels so underdressed

She doesn’t know what it is to be beautifully dressed

Sometimes she used to feel so upset and distressed

She just wanted to wear her own unique dress

One day this all changed

She now wears sparkling diamond broaches and bright colourful pins

Her dress of pearl broaches and flower pins

Forever changing

She is warm in her dress of silver broaches and golden shiny pins

She is the best dressed manikin

She models a unique jewellery dress

She is the best dressed manikin
