Thankful for the words I write

Everyday I see the shining daylight

Through the rain, mist and fog

Every night I see the sparkling stars

Sometimes, life is really hard

Just one word

I will always be thankful for

Now I appreciate life so much more

Poetry has opened so many doors

My world has no ceilings, walls or floors

Only flowing words and open doors

I have a lot to be thankful for
