Mum's Coffee Cake

I just had a slice of mum’s coffee cake.

Went down well with a latte.

My friend had a slice too.

Another came and had a slice.

The next time I looked it nearly had all gone.

Soon there will be none.

The last piece just sitting there but don’t despair.

The piece of cake is now nowhere.

Mum’s coffee cake is no longer there.
