I don’t want my poetic river flow to stop

You know it means such a lot

I know on occasion my creative spot

Is burning hot

You need freezing water to cool it down

Please don’t touch my creative spot

I don’t want my sea of words to stop

I know sometimes my words are soaking wet and steaming hot

It’s just their poetic ocean

You see

My words touch me

Please don’t stop their poetic flow

My words have travelled so far you know

They speak on Podcasts and on the radio

They have even reached American TV

They have travelled so much further than me

Further than my bedroom door

So don’t stop their poetic flow

My words will only grow very weary

That’s why my creative spot means such a lot

So please don’t touch my creative spot
