A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of treasures
You never know what you will find
Some broken hearts
Half a bottle of wine
Pizza from her best wine and dine
Not what you expect
Maybe some silver trinkets
A comfy pillow for her bed
Her favourite knickers and bra
A box of chocolates
Childhood holiday snaps
She keeps them hidden
She does not tell
Deep in the ocean lies the heart of her treasure trove
Random things
They mean nothing to someone but to her a memory buried deep
Some not tangible
You cannot touch
Buried so deep below the deep blue waves
The treasure hidden so deep around the ship wrecks
Nothing seems as you may believe
She keeps her treasures well hidden
She will not give them away
Her heart she will not give away
They remain buried so deep
Her ocean of treasures buried so deep
So is her heart she wishes to keep
