My Secret Power
In the midnight hour
I receive my secret power
A poem whizzing in my head
I must write it down before bed
I can’t get it out of my head
Pen to paper
Or just on my iPhone
Another poem written down on my notes
Raw and naked lines
Posted around the world in no time
Just in time for you to read my lines
My most creative time
Now it’s the Naked Poet’s bedtime
As I dream of another creative line
I must write it down in time
I can rely on my secret power
In the midnight hour
