My poems are my music until I can hear.
My pain is my inspiration when I hear my music clear.
My poems are my words when I find it hard to speak.
My poems are my feelings and they run deep.
My poems are my answer when medicine has failed to keep.
My poems are my tolerance but I still want to weep.
My poems are my promise that no man has managed to keep.
My poems are my tears when I cannot weep.
My poems are my secrets I no longer want to keep.
My poems are my story and memories that one day someone will take a peek.
My poems are me when people come to seek.
My poems are my saviour and distraction from the pain they leap and I seek.
My poems are my fantasy when all I want is to dream of fluffy woolly sheep.
