My Little Pocket Miracle

My mobile phone

You are my home

For my creative self

Notes upon notes of poems

I wrote

I composed

My own blog

A catalogue of poems to flick through

Naked Poet and Toria

Ensuring my poems are kept in order

TCP Toria

I check my emails

I check my cash

I have too many phone apps

A wallet full of tickets

To catch a non-existent train

To catch a holiday plane

To fill my car with petrol again

As my mobile holds my bank card

I hold my mobile phone close to my heart

It tells me how many steps

I’ve done

On occasions, I am a bit of a bum

A mobile phone can be fun

Reminding me

Of memories, I forgot

I have a lot

Of photo shots

I carry lots of photographs

I do laugh

I am often daft

If I have a question

I only have to ask Siri

She will answer me

Perfectly

It is my dictionary

My thesaurus

My encyclopaedia

How does it all fit in here?

A mobile library

My mobile phone

I love you dearly

My miniature computer

I know I don’t use a 100 percent of your computer chip brain

Every day is an adventure

I learn something new

Sharing poems from all around the world

Through you

Many Facebook friends

The list never ends

My mobile phone

My silent friend

On occasion

Apart from when my alarm goes off

I switch you off

I play music

I play videos

I play films

My mobile phone is a record and video player and a miniature cinema too?

I must be boring you

I think this poem is definitely through

I can always just ring to speak to you

I think my mobile phone is a little pocket miracle
