My Grandad Nelson

My Grandad

He was the best

A war hero

None the less

He was 97 when he went to heaven

I miss him still

He was very special

He lived life to the full

He had tales of adventure and horror

He was the best Grandad

A long time you’ve been gone but everyday I remember

You was a special one

I was very lucky to know you for 16 years

I think of you and with no tears

For my Grandad you have carried on living throughout the years

Only memories of the happy times and years
