When the rain falls

The raindrops tumble and fall

You look to the sky

A rainbow appears

I always check the colours

Of - Orange

York - Yellow

Gave - Green

Battle - Blue

In - Indigo

Vain - Violet

A mnemonic learnt from school

A rainbow of wonder of science and nature

We are privileged to see them

We look forward to seeing a rainbow again

When raindrops tumble and fall

When I can stand under a rainbow

Flowers a wonder spread far and wide

They grow wild and free

Flowers are the coral of the sea

Vibrant colours and varieties

They fill your senses

Lavender a calming flower

You touch and feel

Flowers grow on mountains high

In the warm and freezing cold

Flowers are hardy and bold

You will always find a bumble bee

Attracted to colours and scent

He has the important job to pollinate

More flowers grow all over the place

They will always find a space
