Fantasy has Smashed into my Reality
Fantasy has smashed into my reality
I couldn’t dream it
Definitely, a case of
My stomach being bigger than my boggled eyes
Giant carousel rides
It’s own Central Park
As I drink and eat my latte and raisin and oatmeal cookie
Sunbathing at the big pool
A red tube of a twisted spaghetti shoot
So please, don’t try to correct me
I’m living in a holiday fantasy
On this big ship
So big, it doesn’t tip
More than 6 thousand people fit
As I sit
Fountains spring
Turning into a spaceship of bar stools seating
A long board walk
Many people stop and talk
Fast food
This is a fantasy smashing into reality
As we hit the big seas
This ship of skyscrapers with entertainment and continuous food
So many different views
Trees above me
Trees below me
I don’t feel this boat rock or roll
This ship is simply massive
The portion’s three times my usual size
A music mix
Falling down the decks
Karaoke and jazz
I just sit back
Let the Captain sail this massive ship
A Caribbean trip
Stopping every so often, to dip my toe
As we soon will go
This ship is simply massive
I couldn’t dream it
Definitely a case of
My stomach being bigger than my boggled eyes
Giant carousel rides
It’s own Central Park
Starbucks too
I just show my boarding pass
I’m in a fantasy reality
I caught this gigantic ship
Fantasy has smashed it
Fantasy has smashed into my reality

This cruise, maybe isn’t so cool
As I see a miniature tsunami
In the floating swimming pool
This cruise, maybe isn’t so cool
As I see the water sway from side to side
Making waves
As we drink a pint in the pub
Where we all sing along
To a much loved, familiar song
I feel the floor move
Missing a little step
Picking up the beat
I’m not drunk yet
As the waves sweep beneath me
As I see a miniature tsunami
In the floating swimming pool
This cruise, maybe isn’t so cool
