Fallen Pennies

The pennies that fall through my hands

Once I heard them jingle in my pocket

I could hold them in my purse

Touch them in my hands

Now my pennies are no longer mine

They once belonged to me

Was it just magic trickery?

Now the pennies are just a cruel illusion of my mind

The pennies have just fallen from my hands
