I took a step back in time
I caught a written line
The King caught a golden crown
His Mum had so graciously handed him down
He rode in a golden carriage
As his ceremony proceeded
He promised to give his lifetime service
This was a plus
Let’s hope he delivers to us
His crown did wobble as he walked
Yes, we all did watch and talk
As the rain did fall
This didn’t stop this unique historical day
Maybe once or twice in a lifetime
We will see this
