Candle Burns Bright

As the candle burns bright

Friends and family shine

Feeling their warmth and welcoming arms

In the fun and difficult times

Memories are always treasured

Like a string of pearls or a beach of colourful glittering gems

As we meet up again and again

Like a beautiful written letter

Life with family and friends only gets better

Love and friendships don’t wither

Those lost in time

Never forgotten in my mind

Living on in the present time

Faces and voices may eventually fade

Their strong spirit live on today

As their candle burns bright

Friends and family lost in time

Definitely shine

I still feel their warmth and welcoming arms

Their beautiful written letters are mine

Until it is my time to write a wonderful line

When I will be lost in time
