Banana Man

You freaked me out

It was such a shock

Are you human or banana?

When you peeled back your skin and let me in

I found a banana under your beautiful skin

I love you

But of the fruits

You had to be a banana

The fruit I can’t stand

I hate the smell and the taste

Why couldn’t you have been a strawberry

I could eat you with cream

Or a tart tasteful gooseberry

That wipes my pallet clean

No you are my dream

But inside a nightmare friggin banana!

The banana lurks and will be forever there

Love and hate

Such a fine line

You are Banana Man

I love your skin

But bloody hate your taste!
