An Ever Changing Landscape

Someone planted a seed for the tree to slowly grow

So we breathe, fresh air

Grow fruit

To use as a natural shelter

There was plenty of seeds

Creating a forest of trees

A carpet of many emerald green shades

Gradually turning into a gorgeous autumnal sea

The ever changing beauty

Mankind and evolution changes the landscape

Laying one solitary brick

Concrete foundations

Deeply cemented

One brick quickly turns into a row

Gradually these concrete cities grow

The amazing, breathing trees

Cutdown, stripped, chopped and torn

The beautiful trees

Now dwarfed

Living in a busy, concrete city

The tall trees

Now morphed into this expanding, big city

It is hard to see

Earth’s natural beauty

As we all see

This growing skyscraper city

The shiny emerald is encased in grey, solid concrete

Reaching for the silver moon and the yellow sun

The green emerald trees

Continue to live and breathe on

Mankind and evolution continues to be

A carpet of many shades of emerald green

Turning into a gorgeous autumnal sea

It all started from one planted seed

Nature and concrete

Emerald trees living in the centre of a skyscraper city

Trees and skyscrapers morphed

It is difficult to see

The difference between

The trees and concrete forest

Mankind and evolution

The landscape is blurred

There are now, no defining lines

Mankind has changed the landscape

At this moment in time

An ever changing landscape

Is in our eye line

Nature and mankind

On occasion, is difficult to define
