A Storyteller am I
A storyteller am I
I tell many stories of poetry
I do not take a penny
Every line I write
Is worth more than money
Every word is laced with gold
Finished with dotted diamonds
A line can cut through your beating heart
Catch a teardrop from your red sore eyes
Take your breathe away
Words and letters are generous
As I write a poem in my mind
Pen to paper
Inked with love
As the ink pen quivers
On the white page
A story told at a poem’s rate
I don’t know it’s poetic fate
Laced with gold and finished with dotted diamonds
As I wipe the golden ink from my hands
Catching a diamond in my palm
I tell many stories of poetry
I do not take a penny
Every line I write
A storyteller am I
