My Uncle George

Today I have felt upset all day

Tearful

I had no clue as to why

Just found out Uncle George had died

On his own terms in his own way

Not bad innings he wouldn’t complain

92 years is a good age

He lived as he died in his own way

He loved the outdoors and his Jack Russells

Uncle George you were a character

You often got my name wrong ‘Veronica’

Last time we met you got it right

Victoria that’s right

Uncle George sleep tight

We will miss you alright!
