To escape reality

Inevitably, I fall asleep

Sometimes undisturbed peace

Sometimes my dreams come vividly alive

Yet, I am still asleep

Yet, my eyes are open wide

My room doubles in size

I feel so very small

Figures like giants now reside

Sometimes flying dragons

Or just frightening figures in black

My imagination of my mind looking back at me

It seems like a lifetime in my mind of imaginary

It has only been a few moments

I have been living this wide awake reality

Inevitably, I will fall asleep

Peacefully or in a world of my own imaginary

I will escape reality

Inevitably, I will fall asleep
