Trigger warnings

The swim

I swam out to sea

The current carried me

I felt the sunshine on my face

I saw the blue sky

I felt the rain

I saw the storm

The bolt of lightning

I felt electricity

It’s unknown beauty

I felt the motion of the water swell

I felt the wild waves coated in white foam

I smelt the sea

I tasted the water

I smelt the air

I wanted to feel the land

I wanted to feel the grass under my feet

The sand between my toes

I felt your skin

I felt your sensual mouth

I felt your fire

I felt your heartbeat

I felt our sea and hard rock meet

Into ecstasy

You took me

Your Naked Poet
