I can’t remember the last time I was in a pub
I remember you could stay as long as you could
Have a three course meal and coffee and eat inside
We didn’t appreciate eating out at the time
Now we have to go online
Book an allocated time slot
One hour forty five minutes is all you’ve got
You don’t get to choose where you are put
The pub car park is looking up
We are all hoping the weather holds up
You are chucked out when you are timed out
You will have enjoyed your day out
Now you savour the memories you’ve got
The day you got sloshed in your one hour forty five minutes time slot!
