The Month of July

I feel like the seasons have just clashed

In July, the sun should shine

Feeling the heat

Winter has crept in

Making a raucous din

The pouring rain

Splashing!

The dark clouds and electric forks

The thunder does roar

Mountains of rainbows

I wish I could leap on

Sun come on!

Fight your way through

You’ve opened the door

Winter cold is among us all

A little warmth in July
