The big ginger cat
Could smell a delicious rat
He tried with all his might
No matter how much he tried
He could not reach the family of rats
As they sat
Eating yummy cheddar cheese and crunchy crackers for tea
How the big ginger cat wished
He had some tea
He thought delicious rat is for me
He tried so hard to see
As the family of rats ate their tea
Happily
Unaware, of the big ginger cat
Just sat
At the top of their wooden stairs
The family of rats didn’t have a care
Totally unaware
Of the big ginger cat
Who is just sat
Hungry for a delicious family of rats
Those rats he couldn’t catch
The big ginger cat
Just sat
A very hungry cat
The family of rats
Had the last laugh
