Trigger Warning

Ropes of Despair

Hands tied

Flying on the many ropes of despair

Flying to nowhere

Tied to the ropes of despair

A murmuration of birds

Circle and swirl

I feel the harsh wind

I feel the many birds flapping wings

Flying to nowhere

Hands tied

Tied to these unchanging ropes

Flying high with nowhere to go

Tied to despair

Yet, there is hope

One day I will escape these ropes

I will have no need for these ropes

In my mind

I have already let them go

I am no longer tied

Despair no longer lives here

My mind is exceptionally clear

No room for despair

I have cut these ropes

I fly freely
