My new friend Snowman

As the snow does fall

A wonderful snowman stands tall

He wears an old farmer’s hat

Accompanied by a scarecrow’s scarf

Big black stones to button his comfy white coat

To keep him warm in the deep snow

Finished off with a carrot for his stubby nose

The snowman is my friend in the snow

As I run outside in my blue and white striped pyjamas

My dressing gown is my coat in the deep snow

As I play in the cold snow

I don’t want to let go

The wind and sleet

Fills the grey murky sky

I do not notice the freezing cold

All I want Is it to play with the snowman

My new friend

I hope the snowflakes never end
