My Beautiful Wings

My beautiful wings weigh heavy on me

I fly above this wonderful but troubled world

My blue wings take on the worries of all the world

The deep black veins of my fluttering wings

Channel the world’s tears, sadness, death, anger and aching pains

It is very hard to carry

No wonder I am a little weary

My beautiful blue wings also carries hope, joy, laughter and love of life

These give me energy to fly in my very short but beautiful life
