Mourning her Broken Wings
The fallen angel
Shattered white feathered wings
The remains pierce her like sharp bloody thorns
This gentle rose is now reborn
Mortal
Bruised, battered and torn
The bloody silky white dress
Revealing her wounded slender back
On her knees
Praying for her lost broken wings
The Angel with no wings
She carries the world’s sins
Mourning her broken wings
