Never to reach the major newspapers or the big exposing picture screen

Our true stories are to be never heard or seen

Our greatest dreams and our biggest teardrops

Only recorded in our little secret notebook

No one will ever get to read or take a sneaky look

Our original memory’s all written down

Black deep ink splattered on our writer’s hands

Crinkled, tired paper we grab and hold

We are just normal people

Paper people with our own ordinary story not yet told
