Writing a poem

Writing some ink

Spreading my wings

Stretching my words

Opening my mind

All in rhythm

All in rhyme

I want some words with some beat

I want my words to speak out

I want them to be wonderfully colourful

So bright and amazingly loud

I need to wear sunglasses now

To keep the bright shining neon light of my words out

My words shout out so very beautifully loud

I am totally blinded and deaf

As my words speak out

They shout

They hallow out

They jump off the crispy page

They dance

The painted ink stands out in 3D

My poetic lines

They just dance to the rhythm and the beat

Sometimes poetry is just so beautifully neat

To a spontaneous beat
