How I wish I owned a little glass salt pot

How I wish I owned a little glass salt pot

With candy pink salt

Where button flowers grow

They need no water to grow

They do not burn in the thick ice snow

They will never whither

They will always bloom

As I look to the material sky

I see a beautiful button moon

With sparkling sequin stars

We all drive different coloured button cars

With zips as roads

Potholes of buttonholes

The grass is sewn with strands of cotton

Every house is made with patterned patchwork

With tall button trees

I am the rag doll that lives in button town

How I wish I owned a little glass salt pot

With candy pink salt

Where button flowers grow
