Disjointed Poetry

Disjointed poetry

When the words don’t call

They don’t flow freely

The ink has time to dry

The words have lost their high

Dismal and blue

The words don’t come to me

They come to you

Flowing in your beautiful soul

How could I let my words go?

Disjointed poetry

My words don’t love me

They have lost their inked curves

No longer naked and raw

I no longer adore

Disjointed

It don’t figure

It just gets bigger

They swam away

They laughed on their poetic lines

They howled and cried

My own words lied

Wrong order

Total disorder

They crossed over to the other side

Someone, a poet

Is on the run

They stole my words

These disjointed words

Just don’t work

They are so deliciously raw

Graciously naked

I’d have been tempted too

My naked and raw words

Help me join the lost inked naked lines

I promise

I will be yours every time

Just throw us a life line

I want to be rid

Of this disjointed poetry

It isn’t me

Let my words go free

No cuffs or chains

No restraints

My words like it slow and fast

They want to last

Splatter me in black ink

They float on the pure paper

As smooth as white silk

So wonderfully naked

Deliciously raw

I just hunger for them more

They see the tears that I cry

Please don’t let the Naked Poet die?

If my words are disjointed

So am I

I see my words flying by

Catching my pen

I can write again

It is me

Totally naked

Deliciously raw

Naked poetry never written like this before

I must close the door

So much to write

I’ll be naked all night

The Naked Poet must write

My yummy words are such a delight

Thank goodness my ink is okay

They promised to obey

Only writing Naked Poetry

No more disjointed poetry

Your Naked Poet
