Cloudy with a Chance of Doughnuts
Today I could make a wish
The Sweet Fairy promised me
Jam doughnuts with my hot quenching Yorkshire tea
I thought of a light squashy English raspberry jam sugar doughnut
The Sweet Fairy cast her spell
Freshly baked golden sugary doughnuts fell
Tumbling down from the cloudy blue skies
Thank goodness Mr and Mrs Duck
Had their blue umbrella
Mr and Mrs Duck thought it may be cloudy with a chance of doughnuts
The golden doughnuts fell
Like drops of rain pelting down
To the soft ground
It was hot Yorkshire tea and delicious jam doughnuts all round
As the Weatherman predicted
Cloudy with a chance of doughnuts
