Blanket of Snow

Blanket of snow

I was lost in this magnificent place

The blue, yellow and red skies

Caught my eye

I felt this pebbled beach

The pebbles beneath my feet

The cool air took my breath away

The thick snow

Stuck in time

So solid

A thick snow blanket

A pillow for my weary head

A peak in this blanket

A temporary home

Sheltered from the weather

A little home from home

After dinner and some wine

Time to retire to this peak

After my eat

Hot and sweaty

I want to feel so naked

As I sleep in my temporary home

I feel the uneven ground

I feel the cold from the blanket of snow

Your naked heat covers me

A naked adventure pursues

My breath taken away

I am no longer cold in this blanket of snow
