As I return to a new life
As I return to a new life
As death has now left me
I take a swim
In the deep blue sea
My new life as a flamboyant fish
My last dying wish
For freedom to swim
To wherever I’ve been
Seeing the unbelievable beauty of the seabed
Swirling through the coral and trees of seaweed
My tail and my fins
Taking me overseas
To visit Aussie relatives
I don’t think they’ll recognise me
I will be the cheeky fish in the green clear sea
When they visit St Kilda’s beach
I travel to the North Sea
Visiting Scarborough and Whitby
Stopping off at Robin Hood’s Bay
Just to say hi to relatives on their summer holiday
As I swerve through the big currents of the sea
I am free
I travel through many oceans and seas
