A Porcelain Face
Her porcelain face, may eventually crack
As her clay tears, do gracefully fall
Her fragile face is full of expression
Is she an angel sent from heaven?
Or a mysterious devil in disguise?
As she wipes the clay tears from her eyes
A smile does slowly reprise
I see her blue glass like eyes
Is she really a porcelain doll?
Or a lady so wonderfully beautiful?
Showing a moment of luscious madness
Just as her powdered lips slightly dip
She is so fragile
Her rouge cheeks blushing at me
Her powdered lips begin to grin
Her clear complexion
A shade of rose pink
She is a model
She is as fragile as porcelain
I wait for her to tell me her interesting story
I know she won’t just break
She is the real living thing
So beautiful
She looks like she is made from porcelain
She is so very strong
On occasion, she is so virtuously vulnerable
To me
She is as beautiful as a porcelain doll
As her clay tears, do gracefully fall
I remember she is still, so humanly fragile
As if, her porcelain face will eventually crack
I steal a glancing look
I remember that porcelain face
Like a beautiful picture
I won’t ever want to erase
